On the wall behind your bed you could use a sq. of red a little larger than you headboard. If you don't have a headboard this paint will appear to be one. Around the red, use a band of black. The band would be wider if you have a large room or narrower if your room is small. Then do a silvery white up to the ceiling and over to the corners and down to the floor.I would mix a silver and a white half and half to get this color. I would paint the other walls using 2/3 part white and 1/3 part of the silver mixed. It would be toned down for the parents but enough boldness for you. Then use black shades and silver curtains or use red curtains with a silver band at the bottom or down the center of the window. Then you can use blue, greens, yellow, animal prints, etc for the accessories. Make sure to use different textures to liven it up. You can use the plush pillows, furry throws, boa lampshade, etc.Use a multicolored or red area rug in the center or in front of your bed.Have fun and I hope it works out for you. My son had a red, black, and white room when he was a teen.

I would paint one wall the same red as the comforter. And incorporate a couple of leopard throw pillows or a throw blanket...maybe a rug or painting on the red wall.........
I don't know what color your furniture is but you could nix the black sheets and get chocolate brown (or leopard) ones and paint the rest of the walls chocolate brown.
If you really wanted to get creative you could do large red and chocolate brown stripes all the way AROUND your room.
Another idea is just painting the ceiling red. That might be fun.
Watch some decorating shows, look at home catalogs and magazines...peruse the pain dept. @ Home Depot. Have fun with it! You can always paint over it. Paint is the most inexpensive way to update a room!!

Get a nice crown molding for the top of the wall, lining the ceiling, paint that beige or white, then paint one wall red and leave the rest white. It will give the room some depth especially if its the wall behind the bed. It would look very nice. Then you could accessorize with some black vases on shelves, etc.

Since the red bed comforter. I think the room shall be orange. My room is also the same.
By the way tell you some jokes:
-Doctor! I have a serious problem, I can never remember what i just said.
-When did you first notice this problem?
-What problem?
One more joke:
A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.
Last of all just want to tell you that whatever you do, just don't give up. Also you must love and care for the people around you. In that way they will also show you the love that you show to them. Just be yourself and happy everyday. Wish you all the best and good luck!!

Since you already have jewel tones started, use more. Red & black on the bed is cool, but is it a solid or a print? If it''s a solid, add prints, stripes need designs color coordinated to the colors used. Use your favorite colors as accents, once you have your basic colors established. Make sure it all says you, not your parents. You are the one who has to sleep in it. Use a family heirloom as a focal point to please your parents.

Well, maybe you could paint 3 walls white because white looks hot with red and black....and then you could find paint an accent wall with a color that matches with the room.

Sounds to me like a rich gold colour would suite...add some richness to the room and go well with the black and red. It would be versatile with a lot of decorations as well.
