Does anyone have any experience with this? I just moved into a house with that on a few walls and was wondering how to patch nail holes in it. I was going to buy some in the same color to patch them, but it's only sold by the gallon and is like $34! I don't really want to buy so much and waste it. Any advise? Thanks in advance.

To produce a smooth, even finish that doesn't alternate patches with high shine and others with a dull finish.

I have a house at school and me and my roommate need to redecorate our bedroom and living room. The rest of the house is a beach theme but we wanted something different then the other four girls. We own the house so we can do anything we want. Any suggestions would be great!

I'm talking about those long metal bathroom fixtures found in male public toilets. I'd like to have one in my house when I finally get it, as it's easier than using a conventional toilet.

We (my husband and I) are buying our first home and its perfect. totally renovated. The thing is I don't want white walls, im thinking of changing the walls in the 3 bedrooms. Should i do it with paint or wallpaper, and Im open to any suggestions on colors. Nothing loud though, im leaning toward more neutral colors. we're choosing colors for our bedroom and our two daughters bedrooms age 2 and 9. thanks in advance. also if you have a website that you can direct me to with the color you are suggesting that would be even better...

My kitchen is being remodeled, and I have no idea what theme to go with....my dishes are all black ceramic, the countertop is black granite, and the cabinets are oak. So something that'll set this off....I still have to repaint the walls and everything...so I'm open to suggestions...I have no idea what to decorate this room in. (I'd love an idea that would work with some way to hang iron skillets that I use.)

I like the beachy color scheme (blues, blue-greens, greens, white, tan), although my wedding will be in the country in the summertime at sunset. Would different hues of blue, green, and white be okay for a country wedding? I can sort of picture it in my mind and it looks pretty, but I wish I could throw something together to know what it would really look like before the big day next July.

I have also had the suggestion of using sunset colors (pinks, oranges, blues, yellows)? I know that would be pretty too.

Any suggestions for how to see my colors together and pick the ones that are right for the wedding?

I've been decorating my new (rented) flat, I put masking tape at the top of the walls and round wooden bits etc to make a neat paint job.

But when I try and remove the masking tape, -ALL- paint comes off the area it was covering, down to the plaster! eeek!

I think i will soak the rest of it off.

This has never happened in any other house I've been in. Have the people who rented it done a rubish paint job or what, why would it do this?

I didn't think bargain basement masking tape was that strong!
