I like the beachy color scheme (blues, blue-greens, greens, white, tan), although my wedding will be in the country in the summertime at sunset. Would different hues of blue, green, and white be okay for a country wedding? I can sort of picture it in my mind and it looks pretty, but I wish I could throw something together to know what it would really look like before the big day next July.

I have also had the suggestion of using sunset colors (pinks, oranges, blues, yellows)? I know that would be pretty too.

Any suggestions for how to see my colors together and pick the ones that are right for the wedding?

This may seem kind of odd and obvious, but go to a paint store and pick up some samples that you really like. When you go shopping for the items you need, such as your dress, the flowers your cake, bring those color swatches you want. Because you are in the country, you can most definitely use colors for a weddin. Especially an outdoor wedding. (Anyone can do an outdoor wedding with colors but in the country it'll be beautiful) I would go for bright pastels or more subdued versions of the bright blues and teals that you'd like.
Congratulations and good luck.

I think the best way to see colors together is to go to a bridal shop and look at bridesmaids dresses. Those are eventually the item that will have at least one of your theme colors. Also, I would suggest going with the colors that you like best, regardless of season and location. If you like the beachy colors go with it, you will be happy on your big day!!

Go to the paint department at your favorite store and start playing with swatches.

I think the pink/orange/blue/yellow thing would go better if it's just outside, but I'm sure the blues and greens wouldn't be off ---grass is green, sky is blue--it's all good.

definitely go play in the swatches.
