Washing? If so, how exactly? (What do you do?)

Dry cleaning?

I've heard washing is better, but I still get "ruffled" spots, particularly on the button side near the buttons. Is there a way to fix this?

A fast-food cup leaked in my car, and the soda dried on the coins. I then put them in a cup of water to try to get the soda to dissolve, which it did for the most part. Now they're all... oxidized? I don't know if that's the right word. Anyway, I was hoping there was a simple answer that didn't involve expensive polish for collecter coins. These are just normal pocket change coins. Thanks!

A few days ago, I sloshed a little bit of tea on my keyboard (no sugar in it, just aspartame). I quickly turned my keyboard over to prevent any more from dripping into the insides. I left it that way overnight. The next day the keyboard seemed fine and I was able to use it. Now about 3 or 4 of the keys are super hard to press down, although they will work. It feels like they are sticky inside. How can this be if there was no sugar in the tea? Is there anyway to clean the keys, or will I have to replace my keyboard? I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had a similar problem. Thanks!

My batroom rugs have become quite dirty...earlier I used to wash it by hand but it is very tedious.I know it can be washed in a machine using a gentle cycle. My washing machine is a very simple one...the ones that usually comes with apartments.I have put the settings to cold/cold but am not sure which cycle to choose...the cottons (light/normal/heavy/extra heavy) or the wrinkle free (extra light/light/normal/heavy)
Can anybody tell me about it...??

I'm tired of using other cleaners - that don't shine the floor. I miss having a shiny floor.

I am not a smoker, first off. I just purchased(from a person not a company), an oversized chair/ottoman set, it is suede or microsuede. I had it in my house for about an hour and now I smell cigarette smoke all over both items, and now my living room is starting to smell also. I have called a professional cleaner about the furniture but have yet to hear back from them. I need to know what I can do to rid my house of that smell, and what I can do to eliminate it on the chair/ottoman. I tried febreeze, a whole large bottle and it did nothing, then I tried odor cide and it took some away, made it fainter but it is still there. I have only had this chair in my house for a few hours and it is driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I dont want to have to get rid of these pieces.

I share a house with 11 other people and am the only one having problems. There are no pets in the house, there is no carpeting. Is it safe to set of a flea fogger in just my room? Will it affect electronics? How do I make sure my clothes, lines and upholstery will be flea clean?

I have small children 5 and under, and they just have no concept of keeping their clothes neatly organized. I kind of gave up on a system, as I find their drawers popped open with dirty and clean clothes alike, just tossed in. So my question is how do you handle your kid's behavior in this and most importantly, how do you organize your children's clothes? I am looking for a system, as much for me as them, as I HATE laundry and putting clothes away because of this. It is just getting out of hand, and it takes forever to get them dressed and I dread it. Please tell me your system, what you fold and what you hang, etc. Thanks!!!
