I share a house with 11 other people and am the only one having problems. There are no pets in the house, there is no carpeting. Is it safe to set of a flea fogger in just my room? Will it affect electronics? How do I make sure my clothes, lines and upholstery will be flea clean?

A fogger will get on everything. I know you said you didn't have carpet but vacuum (placing some moth balls in your canister )the floor and your mattress. They also have some spray that is pretty good. It is hard to get rid of them. Really work on cleaning your mattress they could be in there.

More than likely you have sand fleas. We have tried everything and the only thing that worked is Raid foggers that kill the eggs also. It is in a purple can. It does not actually leave any residue, or anything as long as you you as directed. The can will tell you how large of a room to use for one can. I would however do the whole house, That does not mean every room, but open all doors and set a few out every so often. I f you can only do your room, then just use one can and go ahead and do it. I have tried different brands of foggers and to my experience those are the ones that work best.

The fleas are probably all over the house.. You just might be sensitive to them.. To check leave a few bowls of water (in a light colored bowl) put a few drops of dishwashing liquid with a desk lamp on them... The light/heat will attract fleas the water/dish soap will drown them. Have everyone do this and see what happens.. This will be a better indication of if you really have fleas or something else.. You might be allerigic to either fleas OR you may have dust mites or bed bugs.. Check your mattress/box springs.. especially the edging/stiching on the edges... Dust mites you can't see, but they are in everyone's mattresses so you might want to sprinkle the mattresses with baking soda/salt mixed and let it sit all day and vacuum it up.. Wash your bedding in HOT water. Also vacuum your furniture/carpets throughout the rest of the house.. .Empty the canister outside or put a couple cheap flea collars in the bag/canister.. If you have carpeting throughout the house sprinkle that with baking soda/salt as well.. This will kill fleas and eggs... You still may want to consider bombing the whole house to be sure... Good luck

The safest and cheapest method of getting rid of fleas is to use a mixture of boric acid and salt. More information on getting rid of fleas is available at http://pests.in/fleas.html

Get a spray that had DEET in it. it is very inexpensive and works well on fleas. If you would like to learn more about deet go to www.deet.com
What ever you do don't wear a flea collar on your neck or wrists. It will make you very ill.

eek - call a pro. just fogging 1 room isn't going to solve anything. long time ago had flea prob & entire place needed professional fogging. maybe you could do it yourself but do the entire house.
