I ruin more shirts with grease (food) stains than I care to admit. Most of my shirts have at least one. What's your family secret? How do you get out Set-in-Stains? I don't want to resort to wearing a bib or eating at the dining room table like a civilized person! I like eating in front of the tv and in the car while I'm on the go.. I have more food stains on my clothes than my 10 month old and that's just sad. I would so appreciate any help! Thanks so much!

I live with a family (1 adult 3 kids) who are all slobs. They leave dishes in the sink, dirty laundry on the stairs, clutter everywhere. I don't want to clean up after them. I think the common areas should be clean; the kitchen, bathroom, entry, living room, dining room. I don't care how they keep their other rooms. Help me find a way to improve this situation.

Ever time I wash my towels, they have an unusual smell to them. It isn't exactly mildew but more like a burnt or electrical smell. I can buy new towels and after awhile it does the same thing. The only towels that don't do this is our beach towels.
I don't leave them sit in the washer, they are put into the dryer right away and then they are taken out as soon as they are dry. I thought maybe I was drying them to long, so I shorten the dry time and still the same thing!!! Does anyone know why this is happening and if so, Please let me know!!!

The formica is @4 years old. No heat or chemicals have been applied or claimed to have been used. When wet they disappear, but immediately reappear after drying. Not hard water, as we dry after wiping down and the spots reoccur in the same area everytime.

The stains are relatively large, made by a male Rottweiler, and are a few months set-in. We were good about cleaning up the urine right away, but have procrastinated with the stains. I have decided to rent a professional carpet cleaner and just need to know what type of soap/agent to use. The carpet is a light beige in color. Thanks for your help!

I may be reaching here, but I thought maybe someone could help me with the name of this product. When I was very young, I used to visit my grandmother, and in her basement was a box of either clothes-detergent, rat-poisoning, or something with a woman on it, wearing a white sack over her head and carrying a broom over her shoulder as if she was chasing something (hence the reason i thought maybe it was rat poisoning). If anyone has ever seen a box similiar to this and could possibly remember the name, I 'd appreciate it.
