A male cat pissed in my sneakers. I soaked them in pine-sol for five days. The odor is still really bad, it smells like a skunk odor but there are no skunks in my neighborhood. I sprayed them several times with Fabreeze but the odor won't go away. Any suggestions ?..............P U !

There are so many! I have tried so many but, in my point of view, I think that the name brands have better performances. They may be outregeously expensive, but they work really well on my clothes! Other people might think differently. I think that the off brands have way better scents! My clothes so much better with the off brands but personaly, I think that the name brands perform a lot better. But I don't know what kind of "name brand" to get.

My mother wants to give me a gift card for a maid service (I am pregnant and shouldn't be lifting more than 15# or bending a lot) but I looked at them and I just don't think that they are going to do anything I can't do with a little help from hubby and older child.

And I found a lot of very negative reports about them online anyway.

So does any one have personal experience with any of the big maid services?

Sorry for the gross question but I go to the gym every morning and my clothes have to sit in the car until the end of the day. Of course I air them out when I get home but they still smell terrible. Should I rinse them out right after exercising? What can I do?

I've just bought a bumbo on ebay for my baby, it's second hand and smells a little bit of cigarette smoke (not hugely, but enough to bother me). I've soaked it in the bath with sterilising fluid and it's improved a bit... I just wondered if anyone knows how I could get rid of the smell completely.
FYI the bumbo is made from polyurethane foam.

I'm at the end of my tether. I bought a new washing machine thinking that it might be different from the previous one. I've experimented with different washing powder, cheap and expensive both leave the same result.

Random white soap stains after my clothes dry on dark clothing. I've tried washing and drying dark clothing inside out, hoping that the stains would be void from the outside, but no... Should there be a specific temperature for washing dark clothing, and limiting to how much i put in the washing machine in one wash? Any other settings that should be changed?
