Put a rug in one spot and after some foot traffic will go across the room. Granted it takes a day or so, but how can I stop this? Thanks!

There is not much friction between the bottom of the rug and the floor. When you walk and your foot pushes against the rug some of that force shoves the rug backward as you go forward.

There are non-slip coatings and pads you can put under that rug before you slip and kill yourself some day.

If you can't get or find a rug with the rubber backing then besides nailing the sucker to the floor, the only other option I can think of is getting that gripping material (can find at any Dollar General or home improvement store, or even Walmart) found probably in the kitchen department. Place a huge square of it under the rug between it and the floor. That should help it to stay in place.

They have rug pads or stay still pieces you can buy. Check Lines and Things, Target, Walmart, or anywhere that sells rugs.

You can use two sided rug tape to hold it in place you can get it at any hardware or WalMart type store.
I hope this helped with your question.

Sounds like you need some carpet tape on the back of it. They have it at Wal-Mart. It will keep it from scooting on the floor....:)
