Yes t is gross. I left a bag in the trunk for 3 days and it turned so nasty! I got rid of the bag and the flies but the smell of the trunk went right inside the car. Even washing with tilex didn't help. What do I do? HELP!

I don't smoke, but my roommate smokes out of her bedroom window. I live above the entrance to an apt. complex, so people are always out there smoking. My room reeks of stale smoke. I've tried Febreze, Oust, etc etc. How do I get rid of the smell? My clothes smell like I'm a smoker, and my room just smells awful.

When I do laundry in the laundry room at my apartment, the clothes don't really come out very clean. It will remove smells and all that, but doesn't really do much for stains or marks on my clothing. I've tried the laundry mat and get about the same results. The machines where I use to live did a much better job, but that was in a totally different town.

I don't know if it's the water where I live, the machines at my apartment, or the detergent I use; or some combination of the three Does anyone have any tips that will help me get my clothes looking cleaner using the machine I have access to? The main thing is I don't want to spend a whole bunch of time pre-treating and/or scrubbing.

I was watching a talk show and the topic was how dry cleaners have been charging women for a service they didn't do. You send your wedding gown to the cleaners to be preserved and they box it up all nice and pretty and seal it.The gown is preserved for 20 years air tight. This is where they get you because they know the box is not to be opened for at least 20 years so they don't do a thing to the gown. The host of the show had her gown preserved over 10 years and she was going to open it for the first time to see if her gown had turned yellow. She opened the box and her gown was a ugly dark yellow, she started to cry right there but then she got mad and said to everyone who is watching go get the box your gown is in and open it. I was scared to open mine but i did and it was horrible, my beautiful gown was now ugly yellow but not the hat the hat was still white. My question is can anything be done can it be dyed back to it's original white Can anything be done for my gown. Thank you

I purchased a heated towel rack from Bed Bath & Beyond only 2 months ago. I was in my bathroom this evening JUST about to run out the door when the thing just collasped & fell to the floor. The legs that the rack was being held up melted right through causing it to tumble over, still plugged in, onto the floor.

Thank GOD i was home to see it fall and i quickly unplugged it and stood it upward. This thing easily gets to about 120 degrees, and i'm almost sure that if i was not home the thing would have burnt my apartment down or caused some serious damage.

I am mad as hell and dont want to just complain to bed bath & beyond. This is a serious hazard and i'm willing to sue the pants off the idiot who made this product.

Where should i go from here? Send a letter to bed Bath & Beyond threatening to sue unless they settle outside of court? Write a letter to the maker of the towel rack? Any information on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

My friend's child was swinging on a playground swing and perhaps the sweat mixed with the coating on the swing left the grease stains. Please feel free to share how you have gotten such stains out or if you know how. Thank you so much!

I have some gorgeous (and expensive) sheets which each time I wash them, and I do follow the directions each time, they come out smaller and smaller each time. I love these sheets but I am not sure what to do. Is there anything I can do so they will fit the bed again? The flat sheet is fine, it's just the flat sheet which I am having the problems with.

Was Just Curious..... I think some people just try to keep up with the basics......like emptying the trash and doing dishes every day, and doing the laundry and vaccuming and sweeping a couple of times a week (when needed)...etc....and some people dust and vaccume every day and endlessly tidy up so that there could never be anything out of place.......tell me, where do you place "yourself" within these two extremes?

Ok here's the deal. I have been married almost 1 yr. We have a ton of stuff, and our apartment is very tiny. We use one room to store all of our things in for now. We are looking to buy a house in the next year. But in the other rooms....It is bad and I don't think i can get it clean. We both smoke and that is first on my list---to stop smoking in the house. That alone will prob help. But it just doesnt ever seem clean. I work 6+ days a week and rarely have the time. What are some tips for a small space to keep clean? Junk just keeps piling up. What should i do?

Please Please help.
