DISSOLVE-IT, available in most markets in the cleaning product isle. I've been using it for many years now. It took 3 day old blue bubble gum right out of white carpet! Now that's a testimonial!

Check out the "Goo Gone" line of products - link is below - they kind of specialize in sticky messes. You could also call the car dealer if its a relatively new car and see what they say, or some car wash places that do 'detailing' may have someone who can get it out.

try freezing the gum with some ice and scrapping it out wit a knife
it should break off not stretch

take hot water i mean really hot water and a dry rag but the hot water on the rag and pull it off....you can even try ice take a cube of ice and rub it on the gum while taking a butter knife and scraping it away...

Put ice on it to harden and then scrap with a knife,carefully not cutting anything, including yourself. Good luck.

Try putting an ice cube on it to freeze it and then you should be able to pop or at least pick it off.
