If you washed it in hot water or dried it in the drier it is too late. If not, you can use Mean Green or Krud Kutter from the paint department at Wal-Mart. I used it to get exterior oil based paint out of my cotton pants.

take the garment to a professional dry cleaner. They will remove the stain with their special spotting chemicals safely without ruining the dress. Attempting to do this yourself is risking the destruction of the garment if you don't know what you are doing. Combining certain chemicals will damage the fabric.

Goof Off is definitely the way to go!
It smells bad when you use it, but
after laundering, it surely removes
old paint stains. Latex is easier to
get out, but it will still remove oil based
paints as well.
Good luck!
