If you are in the know...sales or repair or have heard news programs or read the consumers reports, please respond to my question. I missed a report on this on my local news program. I think maybe the new ones are more energy efficient. Does anyone know the facts?

And they sprayed PAM nonstick stuff on it, but sprayed WAY too much. It's caked on there now. I've scrubbed off what I could, but there's like a sticky film. How can I magically get this off my pan?
I've already tried various forms of liquid detergent and scrubbing.

Just bought a much wanted small out-of-print cookbook. It has a musty odor. Suggestions on how to at least tone it down? There is no evidence of water damage or mold.

The marker is dark green so anything that will get any dark colors off the whiteboard will be awesome!

I have steel doors, and have taped stuff to it, but am not able to get the sticky stuff off, it collects dirt, and looks dirty. I have tried Mr. Clean magic sponge, Goo Gone, Goof Off, and many multi purpose cleaners, so far nothing. I did learn to use magnets to hang things up:)

I'm used to get very "Crisp" shirts back from the dry cleaners which seems to keep the shirt from wrinkling up for a good part of the day. Recently, I went out and bought some No-Iron shirts from Lands End and Brooks Brothers. When they come out the laundry they are indeed without wrinkles, but through-out the course of the day they seem to wrinkle pretty easy. Any suggestions?

I am considering hiring a professional cleaner to my apartment. It is a relatively small, 2 bedroom unit, but there is quite a bit of work that needs to be done. Before I figure out if this is really what I want, I just need a couple of questions answered.

How much do they charge on average?
Will I be expected to leave my apartment while they are cleaning? Do I just stay there and watch?

If someone could help me out, I would be more than grateful.
Thanks in advance.

I have a self-cleaning oven at home, but there are no instructions (we recently bought the house complete with appliances but the previous owners did not leave manuals). Do I just turn the knob to "auto self clean" or is there more to this process?

Have you ever used one of the vaccum cleaners that is pretty much like a robot? If you have what did you think about it? Does it do a good job is it worth the money? Does it work on carpet floors or only hard wood? Let me know what you think
