It's not a particular brand, but a type. You need a detergent with enzymes in it. Therefore, look at the ingredients and see if they are there. Tide and Cheer both have active enzymes, "ALL" and Purex do not. Therefore, Tide and Cheer work better. I'm not sure about the others.

I defiantly would go with Tide. I have tried some of the cheaper brand, and my clothes did not come as clean. Believe me I am fro ogle, and Tide is a good price for the work it does in your wash machine.

According to Consumer Reports, Gain HE, and Tide are the best for the money...

I like Cheer the best, personally, cos it works so well with any colors or temperature, but Tide is my second choice.

I worked in several Dry Cleaners in NYC, and they all used Tide Baby

I like Gain the best, it smells great and works the best out of everything I tried and it's reasonably priced.
