this can be an similar answer yet I appeared this up for you. I ope you try it... eliminating everlasting marker from a white board is truly more convenient than you imagine. No sprays are even mandatory. Steps Scribble a dry-erase marker everywhere in the everlasting marks. make effective you conceal all the marks. enable the marks sit down for 5 to 10 minutes. Erase the marks away with a dry-erase eraser. thoughts This even works on some sorts of plastics, yet no longer all! the colour of the dry-erase marker does no longer count. you'll might want to draw over and erase more effective than once. Warnings do no longer spray any sprays onto the eraser or paper towel. this can make the project even worse. each and every each and every now and then the marks is surely no longer thoroughly erased. things you'd be desiring a dry-erase white board marker. A white board eraser.

There is a product you can buy. But as a teacher...we cant afford it...so try going over the pen mark with a dry erase marker...black is the best....color right over the permenant marker and then erase as normal. do it a few times if necessary.

Start with rubbing alcohol- its the least likely to damage the surface.
Acetone will dissolve the ink, but my harm the surface of the whiteboard.
Another trick is to use a whiteboard marker... color over the ink and then wipe away immediately.
Best of luck.

Chances are good that youre stuck with it. I am assuming you mean that you used a permanent marker on a dry erase board? The problem with those is that anything you will use to take it off may damage the finsh on the board. I have done this myself with Windex and vinegar.

You might try some gun cleaner. There are two common types....one that has an active ingredient called 1,1,1 trichloroethylene. This is a very good solvent and will probably remove the permanent marker. You can buy this cleaner in the sporting goods section of wally world or in any sporting goods store.
