i washed my red satin sheets with the directions given. cold water, mild detergent. but when i took them out of the dryer, i noticed there were stains on them. they look like stains caused from the washer. maybe it's the remainder of the soap? i used XTRA. i don't know what i should do. take them to a dry cleaners? or using Shout or some stain removal product to get it out? my friend thinks it looks like soap. I don't know. Cause the stains are same color as if some water got on it.

I have a bedspread that's labeled dry clean only...I'm wondering if I can wash on the gentle cycle in the washing machine. It's part linen. Thanks in advance for an advice you can offer.

My dog did a nasty #2 on our rug, of which i managed to step in bare footed. I was considering power washing it after soapy water and rubbing didnt quite get the scent out. Before doing so, I was wondering if anyone had a better suggestion. Please help my nasty rug.

PS....Dogs and zip sauce dont mix.

I rescue dogs and of course, accidents happen. I need a good cleaner for tough stains, and will also pick up pet hair. and great cleaning products to boot. ! Any fellow pet lovers found a solution? I would love to know.

I think it's done drying, but it's late and I'm not sure I should go down to the laundry room alone.

Thanks in advance! :)

I used to always throw all whites into one load with hot water and sometimes bleach without thinking about what was in there. After I read an article containing a reader's comment about this, I get grossed out whenever I think about it!

I know their more efficent than the standard washer. But how exactly do they get your clothes clean. It just looks like the clothes are spinning around. But there's no agitation.

Please give a scientific answer, if possible.
