fill the sink or a basin with warm water, add about 1/8 cup of detergent, swish it around in the water. put your garment in the water and get it all wet. then let it soak about 5 minutes. come back and rub the material together. swish the garment around like the washer would do til you think it's clean. take it out and rinse the soap out of it. wring it as dry as you can and then toss it in the dryer on low or hang it to dry somewhere. if you need it really soon, aim a fan at it to help it dry.
when your mother gets home, get her to show you how to use the washing machine.

I personally believe that the machine washer is the simplest and fastest way to do laundry....hand washing will just take forever and get you wet.
Step:
1. Sort your clothes by colours, whites and dark's. Don't mix the loads but put which ever load you need in the washer.
2. Add in the soap it should show u how much is needed in the cap of the soap or the little cup inside.
3. Set the machine on warm water and choose one cycle ( it should be on of the cycles like delicate or press)
4. When it is done put them in the dryer and set the temperature to warm, and start it.
That's as much as I can say with guessing what your washer ands dryer look like but good luck.

You can hand wash if you want to but you have to make sure you get all of the soap out. If you want to use the machine and it is only one item, there is a button or knob or something like that you can select that gives you the option of a small, medium or large load. The water temperature you set at warm. Let the machine do the rest. When it starts to rinse, you can put in fabric softner if it is required. When you put it in the dryer, then there is also temperature selectors and that is what the "tumble dry low" means. Use something like perm. press, or gentle I can't answer without knowing what your machine looks like. If you let me know what buttons you have I can help more.

You can handwash it. If you have liquid bath soap, you can use that. I would stay away from dish soap, it might fade what you are washing. Fill your sink with warm water and add a capful of liquid soap. Swish back and forth. Let it set for at least 10 minutes to get out the body oil and perspiration. Then rinse thoughly in cool water. Squeeze, do not wring or twist, as much of the water as you can squeeze out. Take a bath towel and roll up the article to get a much of the water out as you can. You will need to throw something in the dryer with the item so it will fluff and get dry. A sheet will work well for doing that.

My first response is wear something else and wait till your Mom gets home. When she gets home, ask her to teach you about laundry. This is a must in life and not Rocket Science. But if you have no other choice, follow the Manufactures directions. Place said items in washer. Set washer to specifications (water temp. gentile cycle ect). If u are only washing a few items, set water level to low. Don't waste water and soap. If your water level is on low, u must remember that it won't as much soap or softener. Cold water is always safe, no shrinking. Unless it has stains or is white, no bleach. If it says low tumble dry, that means set the dryer heat on low. Since it says NO IRON, this means that u must remove it from the dryer as soon as it stops or you will have wrinkles. And don't just throw it down when u remove it. Hang it up or lay it flat until you get ready to wear it. And I sure do hope that you aren't washing JUST ONE ITEM, and waisting all that water, soap & electricity.

ok well first you separate your white clothes from the dark clothes, and make sure you read the tags caause sometimes you might think something needs to get bleached, but it's not supposed too. after you do that if your washing white clothes you turn on the water and put it on hot/cold and then put it on the size of your load small, medium, large or, x large, and then you have to put it on what your washing...like silk fabric etc.... then you put it in the bleach and then the detergent but not a lot just about a cap full of it........DARK CLOTHES you do the same thing except you dont use bleach and you put the water on cold/cold. ummm i'm not sure how to hand wash it...probably just do what it says on the tag but wash it in the tub or sink and then line dry it or put it in the dryer on low....but DONT IRON IT LIKE IT SAYS! ok i hope this helps you....now DO YOUR LAUNDRY!!!

LOL (sorry) Just put laundry soap in washer (I recommend using a washer it cleans better than hand washing),put clothing in washer (very important step)
set dial on washer to warm wash/warm rinse or warm wash /cold rinse. turn timer dial to a medium length time (any one will do actually) and set on wash. the dial may have to be pushed in then close lid washer should start.
when washer has finished take out clothing after spin has stopped. Put clothing in dryer set heat to low and set timer dial for 20-30 min.
hand washing can be done but involves a lot more work and wrinkles stuff.

Yes. Use Woolite and follow the instructions on the label. Put about one gallon of cold water in a bucket and add to capsful of Woolite. Swish the garment around by hand for about five minutes then let it soak for about 1/2 hour. Empty the soapy water and rinse.
