The fact that it is tarnished indicates that it is made of either silver or silver plate (base metal coated with silver). Take it as it is to a jeweler for appraisal.

If it's sterling, it's definitely worth something, but probably not a ton. Try getting some silver cleaner (you can get it at any kind of food or store like target) and cleaning them, then take them to get an estimate on their worth.

Likely it's at least worth a little. Don't throw it away. Sell it to a dealer, or sites that replace people's silver for them when they lose pieces.

Not enough information. You may as well be asking, "I have a car. How much is it worth?" It depends on so many factors, who could answer that without knowing what kind, how old, what the condition was, etc. etc?
