Is it alright that I just dump all outside my house to save time (I know the needy will pick them up anyway) or must I make a trip down to Salvation Army to donate?

I have a white tea kettle from Le Creuset which is heavy gauge steel coated with hard, glossy enamel. Accidently, the pot was boiled dry and scorch marks appeared on the outside base. Can the scorch marks be removed?

have two male roomates they are amazing they work 11.5 hours a day and are hardly ever home. They always put stuff away but its the little things that are bothering me...like having to tell them when to clean and what to clean and how to clean it....when i confront them about it they say yeah whatever needs to be cleaned we will clean. They dont complain about my annoying puppy and never leave anything a complete mess...they just dont wipe the counter or clean the bathroom properly almost ever! I feel like I am being used...should I say something or just continue to clean myself... ps...i do have a compulssive issue with cleaning.

I washed a load of clothes and some foreign substance, that appears to look like grease, has appeared on two shirts and a pair of boxer shorts. The clothes have already been dried once but that is all. I sprayed Shout! on one shirt and then washed it (without drying it...I let it air dry) and the stains did not come out at all. Does anyone have any recommendations for the clothes?
And just FYI the clothes are a golden rod yellow polo, a light turquoise polo and then a pair of light blue boxer shorts. Thanks!

How can I get the smell out of my new dark brown leather couch? It stinks up my whole room. I don't think it is cheap leather. I have tried baking soda in the room, but the smell is too over-powering. I saw one site said to use mink oil and another said do not use oil. I saw one site said use Febreeze and another site said do not? Does anyone know of something to use (the more natural the better)?

After burning a fragranced candle in its small glass container, I always have a residue of wax.

I've tried scraping it off, without success.

What is the easiest and safest way to remove every trace of wax?

My glass containers are very delicate and I would like to save them .

Last night I put some Ajax and Clorox in the bathtub intending to scrub and clean in the morning. When I woke up this morning there were brown stains all over the bathtub and no amount of scrubbing seems to get them out. Any suggestions on what happened here and what I can do about it.

I have 2 small dogs that seems to have urinated on my bedroom floor. I removed the carpet and padding but the wood under the carpet has absorbed the odor and nothing I try will work. I need to clean it before putting down new flooring.
