Just do a few at a time. You will have to do them eventually when you don't have anything to eat off of. If I were you I would invest in a dishwasher so you can just pop them in. Just think the longer you leave them sit the harder it is going to be to get the dried on food off.
Turn the music on and get started. :)

I have had this 'problem' before. This is what you do:
1) first move everything out of the sink itself
2)wash one type of dish (like cups), let them dry
3)put the cups away
4)put on an alarm and do another type of dish (like silverware)
5)every hour do the same thing
before you know it you will have all clean dishes!
don't think about it, just do it!
ps:don't spend so much time on the computer! lol

I can sympathize: I used to have a huge problem with that too.
But if you wash your dishes immediately after you're done with your meal, they don't pile up into 'Mount Dishmore'. And aren't so scary. Not to mention the food doesn't have a chance to hard-dry.
Make it a habit, like brushing your hair in the morning.

listen I use to do the same, until I saw small roach in my kitchen,so now i don't pile up no more and if u let the dishes dry it's going to be hard to cleaned, get your radio on with your favorite music and drink and start cleaning your dishes and a couple of minutes you will be done.Try it Good Lock!!

this is one wierd question for yahoo answers, maybe you should have done them before they started to build up... now it is your responsiblity to get up and wash them anyway, i recommend if there is alot of them try doing some now and then add hot water to your dishwater and let them soak in between washing.. will make it stretch out further but you won't feel strapped to sink be sure to always do dishes after a meal, if you can't cause you have children then wait till children are in bed.

I felt that way to, until I found that the longer I left them, the worse the mess and smell was...even had a maggot once; that was really gross. Now I either do them, or use paper and plastic. I at least try and rinse them if I am going to leave them.

don't worry bout it, have some1 else do them (LOL) if someone else is in the house with u, ask them nicely if they can clean or put up all those dishes. if u r alone, just rest 4 a little while, and when you feel like; ur not tired or anything, that's when u can put em up.

Don't do them all right now... Do part of them now and part of them later....do glasses, plates, first...they're easy! Save the other stuff for later.
