If it's an apartment, you are going to have to work together with all of the tenents. Im not sure if you live in a 2 or 4 family flat or if its a huge complex with management (if so, they need to be alerted and demand they spray right away).

But if it is a more smaller apt building, if one person sprays the bugs will hide in someone elses apt until things die down and will come right back. You have to coordinate with everyone else to spray at the same time and hopefully they are as clean as you are.

Let them know this has to be taken care of because there is no reason in the world there should still be roaches around in this day and age with the products available.

The cats are not the problem, actually I heard they are helpful with things like this.

If you are renting your landlord should take care of this problem if not you need to report him the local city building expect or. Roaches are hard to get rid of the only way is a professional.

Clean up the cat's food as soon as feeding time is over, then buy Combat products and use as directed.
Also, get rid of the cat's feces as soon as possible after they eliminate their wastes. Roaches will eat anything. Anything!

The cats, no.

Try boric acid, or Sevin dust. If all else fails, board the cats and use bug bombs. or foggers. And remember that the roaches might be coming from the neighbors' apartments too.

usually the cats help. The apartment is responsible for spraying and keeping pests at bay. If you're in an apartment it's a lost cause unless the entire building in being sprayed.
