Is anyone out there an expert with Dysons? I have got a Dyson DC01 hoover (like this http://www.ogormans.co.uk/images/Dyson-DC07std.JPG) , and have recently found a problem with it. Basically when you switch it on and push it round, it starts sucking and pulls things up off the carpet, but when you switch it off it seems to deposit half of what it picks up back on the carpet..

I have changed the filters and checked any obvious holes for blockage. I also pulled off any string type debris is had wrapped around the front spinny thing. I havent checked any belts etc..

Any ideas on what I can try??? Thanks

What can I use to get rid of the hairspray buildup on my bathroom floor? I've tried Mr. Clean, Lysol, 409 and even Tilex. I've tried using a mop and a scrub sponge. But nothing seems to help.

Cleaning staff, especially in schools and other insitutions with hard floors, spread what's called "green dust" on the floor and it seems to help clean. What is "green dust" made from and how does it work?

My daughter is getting older and still wets the bed. How can I get rid of the urine odor? It is somewhat noticeable because she does it pretty frequently. I've heard of putting the mattress outside, but I don't have anywhere clean to put it outdoors and I don't want to publicly shame my daughter (She's an only child so people would know who peed in the bed). I obviously cannot put the mattress in a washer, so how do I remove the stains and odors left in it? How have you all dealt with this situation?

The salt left a stain on my sneakers and I'm not sure what I can use to remove it. I think the sneakers are leather suede.

I've got a huge pigeon problem in my garden. What's the best way to get rid of them. My mate suggested feeding them bread with loads of bicarb rubbed in, but that sounds like it's gonna attract the masses. Help?

My 2 year old has new black shiny shoes that she colored on with pen ink (yes you can still see it on the shoes even tho they're black) Is there any way to remove this, and it's also on some clothes. Any suggestions would be great.

I have been told to use vinegar to get the dog's peepee smell out of my carpet after I clean the area. Every cleaner I have tried doesn't not completely get rid of the smell, so I want to further de-odorize. I am worried that vinegar will bleach the carpet, though. I am also not a big fan of the smell of vinegar. I have a window above the area I need to de-odorize and two fans to work with, so I can probably manage to get most of the vinegar aroma out the window, but I would rather work with something not as repelling-smelling. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

I wash it in the washer. After I use it, I rinse it and then lay it out so it can air dry. It still smells! My drying towels even smell too! After I wash the dishes the towel even makes my dishes smell! Any suggestions?
