Sneakers clean up really well in the washer. Half fill your washing machine with dirty laundry (not delicates), drop your sneakers inside a pillow case and tie using a rubber band (do laces separate) and then put them in the washer. Put washer on full wash and put in half the amt. of detergent you usually use for a full wash. They come out like new!

Get a bucket, plastic trashcan, or dishpan that they will fit into. Pour prespotter on the dirt first, let it set up a few minutes. Then put some detergent on a little brush--nail brush, old tooth brush whatever, and scrub those dirty spots. Then soak the sneakers in warm to hot water with lots of detergent in that container you found. At least 30 minutes, then run them under the faucet until they aren't soapy any more. Put them aside to dry; sun is good for white sneakers, not so much for colors, because it fades/bleaches them. When they are dry, and clean, spray them with hairspray or spray starch, it will help keep them cleaner until next time.

Wash them the same way you would a load of clothes. Put them in warm water with some soap and wash. They come so clean!

I usually put them in an old pillow case so they don't bump around, and wash them with old towels.

I just put them in there with a couple of towels, and wash them with cold water, detergent, on regular cycle.
