there is a product for safely removing paint from stuff called Goof Off. you can get it at hardware, paint, and home improvement stores. i would try it on an out of the way spot to be sure it won't affect the finish first though. you could also check the pergo web site for instructions on cleaning and care of your floor. good luck, hop this helps.

you need to do it by hand if you use any kind of machine it would ruin the pergo just get a 8 or 10" plastic spatula that's all
