I have always had vinyl flooring and carpeting. I recently moved to a new home with massive ceramic tile floors. I do not want to use anything that will hurt the surface. Please help! Thanks.

I have a room which suffers vapour from a chip shop. I am looking to buy an air purifier unit that will clean the air of the smell.

Most of the domestic models I have looked at capture 99.97% of particles: dust, pollen, smoke particles and other air contaminants down to 0.3 microns but does that include the smelly stuff?

Can anyone help with this?

Many thanks

Peter

I have a nice expensive goose down Eddie Bauer winter jacket given to me my a relative. I followed the washing instructions on it because I washed it after it got all full of rotten tree sap, but now all the goose down is balled up in places, it lost it's thickness to keep me warm in MN and it still smells like rotten tree sap! other than all that, it still seems almost new. any suggestions? besides super sarcastic ones please. thankyou

why there is white spot after the cloth wash from the machine?? is it because too much cloth in one time?? I don’t think so it would be too much washing powder I use. what do you think?? Or could it be the machine problem?? Every time after washing from the machine, I need to wash again the cloth by hand to remove the white powder stain. any help?? Any idea??

In my teenage years I suffered from acne so I washed my face a lot. Recently I noticed that the pores on my face especially those on the cheeks and forhead are widening. I can see them from a mile a while. I need to know what is causing this and how I can help my face

Me personally, my mom wouldn't let me mess with HER machines until I moved out when I was almost 19 and my husband had to show me how, lol.
With my oldest I started letting her use them with supervision at about 15 and now she is almost 18 and does it all by herself.
My next to the oldest is almost 13 and I am wondering when to start teaching her how to do her own laundry maybe in about a year or less.

Your thoughts or experiences?

My son fell asleep while cooking beans. When he woke up they were very burnt and the house smelled bad. This was Friday night. The house still smells. He has tried sprays, candles, potpourri, warming oils as well as leaving the house open since Friday. I would appreciate any and all suggestions.
