Does it take longer for a Pyrex bowl to heat up in an oven than a steel bowl?

I agree with miss mary and to add, some steel bowls maynot be oven safe. I always use my Pyrex when I am baking in the oven

No, though steel conducts heat better the bowl will heat up just as fast. Glass is thicker and will hold heat longer that a metal bowl will.
