Try using a solution of vinegar, soap powder, and hot water and scrub with a scourer. I've done this before and it works because the acid in the vinegar helps to break the dirt down.

This is going to take a lot of effort. You first need to break down the top layer. To do this carefully take a Stanley knife blade and at a 20degree angle gently scrape the surfact layer off. Take your time so as not to scratch the tiles. When you have broken down the surface you can then use very hot water and fairy liquid and a scourer to wash the remainder. When all the grease is removed buff up with a soft dry cloth.

Very easy indeed. Just add some bleach and some washing up liquid to warm water. That's all you need to remove the grease easly. It will be even easier if you can buy those curly silver brushes.

You can just paint above it. You may want to tile behind the sink or stove, but I would paint the rest.

i use lemon get a lemon and cut it in half and wipe over leave leave the juice to soak in for half hour and it will come off it also smells nice to

try water with vinegar in it . it worked for me or there is a flash greese cleaner which works wonders.
