I have a room which suffers vapour from a chip shop. I am looking to buy an air purifier unit that will clean the air of the smell.

Most of the domestic models I have looked at capture 99.97% of particles: dust, pollen, smoke particles and other air contaminants down to 0.3 microns but does that include the smelly stuff?

Can anyone help with this?

Many thanks

Peter

I have a Carrier electrostatic filter it removes dust, pollen, mold , mildew and yes, ODORS. I had always had this basment odor before, but now that has been GONE with the use of this electrostatic on my furnace and AC .

My neighbor also uses a new :"blue light" technique were its mounted into the airtake on a furnace . This is a commercial available product.

Yes they do. My in laws live on a farm, in a barn none the less but they have air purifiers and there aren't any odors at all. Good luck
