TIDE FREE... No scent is the best scent. Several other brand names come without perfumes. They are all right there in any store. You can buy several varieties of "natural" and "organic" products too, but these are more expensive and are not actually proven to be any better for the environment or your clothing.

I'm not sure what's available where you are, but in the States there are all types of perfume free products, we use liquid Tide detergent and liquid Downy fabric softener as we all have allergies.
If you are in the UK, we used to live there also and there were a couple of shops which catered to American ex-pats where we could get American brands of different items. See if you can locate one of those shops, they may be able to help you.
Another possibility is if there is an American army base near you, they may have some perfume free items.
Otherwise, if you have allergies and you go to see an allergist, possibly they can give you some ideas.
Good luck to you!

Arm and Hammer is great (you know, the people who make the baking soda).
It's about as gentle and additive-free as you can get. Pure and simple.
If that doesn't do anything for you, check out a Whole Foods store or some other "natural" store and they are bound to have some perfume-free products.
Good luck.

All free/clear is our favorite. We have tried the Tide Free and while it doesn't seem to have a smell it still gives my husband a rash. If you use a clothes dryer you don't need softener. For clothes that may get a bit of static you can find dryer sheets that are unscented.

Have you thought of trying a washball? I think they are brilliant. You save money as they are re-usable for months and months. They contain no harsh chemicals and work by ionising the water. You may need a little extra help for stubborn stains though.
In the UK and US you can buy an Aquaball or a Ecoball is available here in the UK.

I love Charlie's Soap--it's family-made, unscented, super concentrated and will get any stain out of anything.
