I have got really itchy little bites on me, and so has my boyfriend. We just moved into a new house, all the furniture is new except and old leather sofa and the carpet has been cleaned. Can't see any bugs... what is this?? and how do we get rid?

Most probably fleas or an allergy to something in the house. Inspect for fleas. Place a white sheet down on the carpet and leave undistirbed for a couple of days. You will see them on the sheet if they are there. If so, you will need to get rid of them as they would be all over the house.

could be something living in the leather of the sofa.my mum used to work in a shoe factory and used to get bites from little tiny weevles in the leather for the shoes. may not be this but id recommend getting a professional to take a look. Also have you got any pets? they could have flees! hope this helps x

Could be an allergic reaction to dust or something else in the new home.
Have your air ducts cleaned and make sure the filter in the furnace is clean as well.

have you changed to a soap powder that you are both allergic to, or perhaps if you have cleaned the carpet you have disturbed fleas that have been laying dormant for a few years...

sounds like fleas, they can live for years..or you could be allergic to something, like detergent.
