just bought a new gas dryer but now am moving and many houses we are looking at do not have gas hookups

There are many parts that would need replacement to convert your dryer. In the parts and labor you could buy a new dryer for less. It would take forever to gather all of the parts need as well and I am sure there would be a few that would be overlooked and would need to be ordered a second time around and possibly a third since this is not done.

You would definitely make out better by selling your dryer and put the money from the sale towards a new one.

If there is gas in the area where you are plaining to move it would cost less to have a gas line installed.

Sell your new one and then just buy the house because they might have a dryer.

Not economically feasible, sell it, maybe you could try to return it.
