What can I use to get rid of the hairspray buildup on my bathroom floor? I've tried Mr. Clean, Lysol, 409 and even Tilex. I've tried using a mop and a scrub sponge. But nothing seems to help.

Rubbing alcohol will break down the hairspray. Buy a container, sponge mop it on the floor, let it evaporate and then rinse with water on a sponge mop. Do not use this method if the floor is natural stone.

I had that happen to me, My husband used a wax remover and then washed the floor with hot water and bubble bath that i had and got rid of it that way.

Now I have a rug on the floor so this doesn't happen anymore, which I wash every week so there is no build up on it...

Gradually I stopped using hair spray found it was damaging my hair.

isopropyl alocohol, finger nail polish remover, or Goo-B-Gone will get rid of it, but make sure it doesn't mess up your floor first! Or maybe suds up some shampoo since it washes hairspray out of hair?

Try using Scrubbing Bubbles, or use baking soda. The texture of baking soda, will help to unstick it. Or try Greased Lightning (at wal-mart), that stuff is amazing, cleans ANYTHING.
