If the stain is covering a fairly large area it probably isn't drool. It's most likely the oils from your hair and skin that stain them. We had the same problems here and have since started using a pillow cover under the pillow cases. It helps to stop the oil from going straight into your pillows. And if you change these out every week with fresh ones it should keep them from staining at all. But you will probably have to get new pillows whether or not they are foam or feather because once these oils stain to that color they are pretty much there for good.

Replace your pillows, this is just drool marks but it isn't very sanitary. Get some pillow covers that will protect your pillows, out of moisture proof material, with zippers. Use them under your pillow cases. Your pillows will last much longer and they will be much less germy.

the stains are from drooling in your sleep, yeah, i know gross. i cover my pillows with covers sold for this reason, and wash them every other time i do the sheets and pillow cases. i also take the pillows to the laundromat twice a year and wash them in a big machine there. good luck, hope this helps.

Are they fiberfill pillows? Or feather? If they aren't feather, you should be able to wash them in the machine. Toss a couple of tennis balls in the dryer with them to fluff them back up.

just make sure they aren't that plasticy stuffing that you get in a lot of soft toys because i put ones like that in the washer and they came out all lumpy and misshapen and scunched up at one end
