They have the typical buildup of dirty, sticky grime on them. They have hand-painted roosters on them so I hope not to clean the roosters off.

My roommate and I were moving to a different apartment. We defrosted our mini fridge, but when we moved it, I forgot to take out the tray underneath the freezer part. It had all the melted ice and gross suff, and it spilled all over. We were in a rush, so we didn't clean the inside of the fridge at the time. A few days later when we opened the fridge, it smells like something died in there.

I've been trying to clean it for weeks, and the smell keeps coming back. I've tried to clean it with baking soda and water, scrubbed the inside with soap, and sprayed Lysol Antibacterial Food Contact Surface Cleaner (what a mouthful) to disinfect it. I've even unscrewed the door and cleaned off the gross stuff growing in the rubber lining, and it still smells awful. I am reluctant to throw away the fridge, and I want to know if there's anything else I could do to save it.

My clothes, that I handwashed, still smell soapy after I finally dried them(outside). This may be a dumb question, but is that normal? or should i wash them in a machine?

I need help, there are so many name brands out there: LG, Admiral, Maytag, Kenmore, GE, Whirlpool...and list goes on. What one do you have and is it good and how long have you had it to say that it is good? Please help, I do not have a lot of money to spend on one about $1000.00 on both together.

We just bought a home and after we pulled down the wallpaper we found several spots near the baseboard where a cat apparently sprayed. It reaks to high Heaven and we are strapped for time before we need to put up our wood planks and carpet. Is there anything we can do without having to replace the wood?

For the longest time when we wash clothes, the clothes have an odd smell to them. We've tried different detergents, fabric softeners, and all that, but the smell remains. We thought perhaps moisture in the laundry room, so we moved them into a closet. The closets are walk-ins from the bathroom, though, so they keep the same smell.

Could this odd-smell off clothes be alarming and travel in public, and what can I do to help it?

i have a friend who's home is always perfect. i was shocked one day to find out that she never folds her laundry, she just tosses it in the dresser. the past couple days i have been humoring the idea of doing the same thing myself. after all, i have 2 kids that pull all the clean clothes out and scatter them on the floor and one that mixes them all up when he is looking for something. admittedly, i am a mixer myself. so if it all just ends up in a jumble either way, should i just give up on folding and spend all that time doing something else?

what's the best way to clean the bottom of a coffee pot? There's white stuff on the bottom, like calcium deposits or something. Is there an easier way to clean it off than just using a scrub sponge? thanks.
