Baseballcaps= you can wash them in the washer and put them over a 3lb. coffee can until they dry completely. They will hold their shape that way.
Western Hat= If it is an expensive on, you need to take it to a western wear store and have them clean it and reshape it for you.
Western Hat (inexpensive) I have put them in a sink with hot water (just a quick dunk. Don't leave it until it soaks up alot of water) I have used a soft brush to go over it. Shape it and set it on a towel until it dries. It will be stiff again.
Straw hats= use a little cleaner on a rag and go over it slowly and gently. Set it on a towel to dry. It will stiffen back up when it dries.
Felt hats= brush with a soft brush. If it is dirty on the top then you can gently rub alittle with a slightly damp rag. It will still be stiff because you don't use water.
