Like TJD said, not a good idea. The combination of heat and bleach that's in dishwasher detergents isn't good for the teflon. Plus, I've done it before when in a hurry and they generally come out with a soapy residue that you'll have to wash off anyway. Never quite understood why the soap would stick when nothing's suppose to stick to Teflon! :)

In the dishwasher, teflon can sustain damage like knicks and chips (however small they might be) from utensils and other small objects that sometimes get tossed around.

They'll last a lot longer if you don't...dishwasher are too harsh

You can but,they'll last longer if you hand wash them.

yes it is but why waste the energy just do them in the sink yourself
