When our house gets dirty I feel out of control and upset because my fiancee won't help me by picking up after herself. I feel so overwelmed and frustrated. The only time she will help clean is when I ask her too or if I get upset about how the dirty house is making me feel crazy and out of control. Then I feel bad when we have a spat and she acts if I did something bad by her facial expressions(like I scolded her which I didn't). Please help give me some good advise and I don't want to break up or leave her.

My lovely baby girl got into a bottle of Purell and wiped it all over our tan colored leather ottoman. Now, there is a "bleached" out kind of look where she wiped it. Is there a way to fix this? I used a leather wipe on it, but it's still there. HELP!

I'm trying to buy a dryer. Which one is better? Gas or Electric, and which one would save me some money?I live in Utica, NY (upstate), and Gaz and Electricy are really expensive here, it's not even funny!

Lots of contradictory things I've read on the internet. Baught a pair of rebocks over the summer and they smell, I guess they have some kind of leather on them.

Is it bad for leather to get wet?

Is it safe to throw them in the washing machine by themselves?
What about the laces and insoles?
what about muffeling the noise?
How long do they take to air dry?

Any advice would be greately appreciated, especially if you've experimented with this yourself.

oh, also, I have this neopreene knee brace, starting to smell bad too. what's the best way to clean/remove odor from it. I've heard stuff about vinegar but....iono about it

Kind of a strange idea, but I'm wondering if anyone knows where I might find shoes or sandals with brushes beneath them so that scrubbing caked grime on a floor is much easier to do. =)

The time has come for me to purchase a new vacuum cleaner. I had thought about purchasing a Kirby but I've read many bad reviews of the vacuum and the sales practices of the company. I am also considering purchasing a Dyson or an Oreck. Does anyone have one of these vacuums? If so, are you happy with it? What are some other vacuums I should consider? I'd like something that's not going to lose suction a week after I purchase it! I also have 2 long haired dogs so I need something that will pick up pet hair with no problem

Have you tried one of those electronic pest repellers that plug into the wall and give off high-frequency sounds to drive away insects like fleas? We are thinking of getting some, but we don't want to waste our money if they don't work. Please let me know what your experience has been with them. We need them for fleas which are in our house now that we've gotten our pets on Frontline.

Also, if you have any other ideas for us, please let us know. Right now we're going to use boric acid and rock salt, moth balls, and lots and lots of cleaning. Thanks!

It is new and doesn't really need a heavy cleaning but I do need to clean it because of intimate activities on it, sweat and body fluids, etc. I don't want it to smell like sex
