What are some ways to remove hair dye from bathtub?

You could try bleach, or try dry laundry detergent, or dry dish detergent. Just don't mix cleaning agents as you can create a deadly gas if you mix the wrong things. If these remedies don't work you could call the 800 number on the box of hair dye and ask the manufacturer or you could call an appliance store and ask if they know what might work.

Simple. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE HAIR DYE.

When your done, USE THE HAIR DYE to remove the stains. It sounds crazy but it works. Just rub on the hair dye, wash off immediately and rinse. Works on your skin too.

fill the tub past the dye line, then get some bleach, most likely a full gallon bottle, pour it in, and walk way for a couple of hours. then come back and let the water out. Do not mix bleach with ANY OTHER CHEMICAL!!! Just water.

Ohhh very simple!

Get some Soft Scrub (w/bleach) and scrubbie... and wash!

I've had this happen to me several times... The Soft Scrub also takes the stains out of the counter and sink.
