Kind of a strange idea, but I'm wondering if anyone knows where I might find shoes or sandals with brushes beneath them so that scrubbing caked grime on a floor is much easier to do. =)

They do have these things that go over your shoes and you use your toe to scrub. Have no idea where I saw this or where to get them but I would do an online search.

But for just regular cleaning of floors it really isnt practical as you would be sliding around and just wouldnt be able to get good leverage I would think to do a good job. Get down on your knees and do it if it's that bad.

You just read the legend of Paul Bunyan, didn't ya? The one where he tied sides of bacon to his boots and t hen skated on this huge griddle to grease it for pancakes for his gargantuan breakfast and then replaced the bacon with floor brushes and went skating on it again in order to clean it. Nice story, but...! Hey, go rent a proper floor scrubber, they use a stiff rotary brush to get all that crud and grime off. Or hire a professional team to come in and clean it for ya - that way you gets a warranty along with the completed task.
