It is new and doesn't really need a heavy cleaning but I do need to clean it because of intimate activities on it, sweat and body fluids, etc. I don't want it to smell like sex

The important thing on a new sofa is to protect it with a good water based leather protector. DO NOT use anything that contains oils, waxes or silicones.
A leather protector will inhibit dirt and oils from being absorbed into the leather as it is these that will do damage in the long term.

Also use water based foam cleaners when it needs cleaning.

The recommended cleaning regime is to wipe down with a damp cloth every week, foam clean every 2-3 months and protect every 3-6 months. The key thing being the rehydration with water, as this is what needs replacing in the leather especially in centrally heated houses.

Protecting and regular cleaning will keep your leather looking and feeling good for many years.

You should've thought about this before "knockin boots".

Anywho, you might want to try a leather cream or balm sold at shoe stores or even wal-mart. This will clean the leather and moisturize it at the same time.

You might want to try Armor-All Leather cleaner. I found it particularly useful.

Other than that, Febreze the couch to keep scents of sex at bay.

And quite honestly, if you are THIS concerned about your "Italian leather" couch you might want to save the "knockin' boots" sessions for other less expensive furniture like the bed or kitchen table.

If not that, throw a blanket over the couch before the "knockin' boots" session and proceed with business as usual.

You should be able to find a leather cleaner with the cleaning products at a Target/Walmart/Kmart. That's what I use.
