I'm trying to buy a dryer. Which one is better? Gas or Electric, and which one would save me some money?I live in Utica, NY (upstate), and Gaz and Electricy are really expensive here, it's not even funny!

Thats what I used to do, hang them on the line. But I moved and at my new place, I cant do that. which doesnt make me happy, trust me!!

well if you have the hook up for gas go for that but if you dont have that hook up near your old dryer then get the electric dryer.

Gas is much cheaper than electric plus the gas heat in a dryer won't wrinkle your clothes as much. The dryer won't have to run as long also

Gas is cheaper, but if you really want to save money you could do what people used to do thousands of years ago: hang the clothes outside on a line.
