Fold a paper towel into a pad. Place it over the wax and rub the paper towel with a warm iron. keep the heat on low so you don't burn the carpet. The wax will be absorbed into the paper towel. You may have to turn the towel a couple of times as the wax is absorbed into the towel Good Luck !

Just did this the other day and it worked like a charm...I put a paper towel on top of the wax, then gently ironed it. You may need to do this a few times until all the wax is off, but I've always done this and it works great! Good luck!

To remove the wax follow the suggestions here:

" If you splill wax on carpet..put ice cube to harden it and then scrape off as much as possible..next take a warm iron and put brown paper bag on spots and iron..brown paper bag will absorb the remaining wax.. "

Hi Lisa,
I'm no expert at this, but if I had to do it I would use an ice cube to get it very cold. When wax is cold it is brittle. I would then get a vacuum and a pair of pliers. turn on the vacuum and use the pliers to break the wax up into small pieces while I used the vacuum to suck up the pieces that break off.
Hope that helps

Scratch off excessive wax with your nails and then place a newspaper on it and iron it at very hot, this will melt the residue wax and the paper will absorb it.

I read someplace that if you put a brown bag on the area and iron it, the wax will come up when you remove the bag.

this is what you gonna do....get a piece of paper (white paper) and flat iron -- then put the piece of paper on top of the affected area a start ironing (but be sure that it is not too hot) just you doing your clothes until it melts...try few times....be sure that you're not gonna burned your carpet....it tried this so many times
and it works.

Use a blow-dryer to melt the wax and "pad" it up with newspaper.
