I have a denim jacket thats a few years old, and ive never washed it. I usually spray febreeze on it because I do not want it to fade in the wash or shrink. I also like the slight brown tinge in it, and do not want that to wash out as well. How can I clean this without ruining it?

My wife is an elementary school teacher and she purchased a gallon container of glue for her classroom. On the way home from the store, the container fell over and began leaking on the floor mat. Can anyone help me clean up this mess?

After washing them in the sink, should I:

Leave them to drip-dry on the draining board - exposed to the air and all the pollution that it holds?

Dry them immediately with a dish towel - which will get progressively dirtier?

and why?

It is always coming from T-shirts. I wash them all the time, I've tried using Tide with Febreeze and Bounce with Febreeze, I've tried bleach on the white shirts and NOTHING works. Some shirts are almost brand new but still develop that smell. Its an old cottony/sweaty kind of smell, hard to explain but i'm sure you get what I mean. PLEASE HELP!!! I dont want to have to throw all these shirts out!

I have wood floors and dogs, and was told by a friend, who also has dogs, that she stopped using Swiffer because of the lead content. My dogs are my "kids", and would never, knowingly, use anything that could be harmful to them...just want to make sure the Swiffer info. is accurate, since the bottle contents don't refer to lead. But, like most labels, since I'm not a Scientist, I'm not sure!

Thanks for your feedback.
