i clean my room spotless once a week.. and a while ago i see a bunch of ants going under my couch.. immediately i sprayed stuff on them and mopped them out.. i thought maybe my lil sis left candy on the floor since shes in my room sometimes and found an unopended peice of chocolate.. do ants go for that stuff even if its not opened?.....

and another thing.. since her room is next door and she has junk.. would they pass through my room to get to hers?

The A&D ointment that I use on my baby was left on my bed and I apparently sat on it with a good pair of pants on. Will the stain even come out and should I pre-treat it with anything? I'm bad enough at doing laundry.....my son comes to me if he WANTS to shrink his clothes! Anyways, it is made with petroleum...like vaseline. Please help, I really like these pants.
(Pants are made of 100% cotton)

If so, how long does it take for the possible damage to occur? Someone told me not to soak dirty pots in water before washing them because water could actually get into the pot. What is the likelihood of this happening?

I have some wool blend curtains that I want to iron, but I am wondering if I can use starch or this stuff I have called magic sizing? Will this hurt the fabric? the lining is a silky type material but I'm not putting the iron on that side. I have ironed these curtains before I am just wondering if I can use starch this time? Any recommendations?

I've been washing dishes with Dawn for 20 years and my mother always used it as well. The last 2 bottles i've bought haven't seemed as effective as before. Now i have to add more soap when i've only done half the dishes and Dawn used to always work really really well and stay sudsy enough to wash everything.

--I have always washed any greasy pans or dishes last, so i know that's not the problem.

OK so my tenant left very greasy wooden cabinets - I don't want to sand them and re poly them cause I'm senative to the poly and low on time.

SOO can I see lesoil on them? I found that at the local store and it's a de-greaser but will it be ok to take the layer of grease off?

he doesn't burn himself??? I am tired of taking him to the ER with burns but if i adjust the temp for the whole house I am unable to take a really hot shower. Help me please we are haveing a BBq for the fourth and there will be a lot of stuff for him to do before he see the fire works!
