I also have issues with the bottom of my pans being clean, shiny. I have copper bottom pans I use daily and what works better than anything I have ever used is cameo, better than barkeepers for really tuff spots use a sos and cameo. It is usually about a dallor and has been around for years, you'll have happy pans

I agree with nana on those two ideas. You can also use something that is called Bar Keepers Friend, it is in a container like comet. This would be something that I would just add a little water to, make a paste, rub it on the pot, let it sit for 3 minutes and then scrub. I use it on a multitude of things and it works great.

arm & hammer baking soda is the best for cleaning. I use it on pots & pans, cleaning my sinks, and bath tub. Just make a paste, rub it on and wipe away. It's a miracle cleaner.

I use a choreboy sponge because it scratches less and
SoftScrub with bleach in it! Works great...and less abrasive than a lot of other cleaners.
Good luck

I use baking soda on mine- and even removed some baked-on grease that I didn't think would ever come out!

coke works best. If they are copper on the bottom and you need that clean, ketchup will work on the copper.
