Trust me on this....
Get a bar of Ivory soap (or gentle soap/detergent). Wet the spot(s) and rub the soap into the spots. Rub for about 5 minutes. Then, rewash your item of clothing. The spot(s) will disappear.
When I first started doing laundry, I thought that you had to add the softner directly to the clothes (DUH!). The Ivory soap did wonders!

Yes it has happened to me. Instead of fabric softener, try distilled white wine vinegar -- the results are amazing, and it acts as a disinfectant as well. The initial smell of vinegar will become a nice fresh scent. Good laundering!

attempt Goo lengthy gone. it somewhat works on a great number of stuff,, any walmart, purpose or food market... looks greasy from bottle yet washes thoroughly out in washing gadget.. i.ve used it to get rid of duct tape, value tags, paint, nail polish, so it may soak into the fabric softener and get rid of it... i anticipate you've a blue stain..... attempt hydrogen peroxide and infrequently hairspray will get rid of stains of this nature.. or the Rit colour out equipment.. white field pink writing on it.. a million.50 on the save... receives rid of hues bleeding into fabrics and under no circumstances the 0riginal colour of merchandise. strong success...

if you put it in the softener dispenser it won't do that or put it in just the water before you add the clothes then all should be good. i've had the same problem before but my clothes go in the drier.

i have had a different color (not white) from fabric softeners splashing on clothes.....always mix in water first
