Is there a way to get acrylic paint out of carpet?

Question

I was painting something for my girlfriend and a bottle of acrylic paint fell off my paint area and on the floor. Is there anyway to take out the paint?

I always used scissors when this happened, but I saw another Answers user swear by brush cleaner.
It's worth a try...probably makes less of a hole than scissors.
