Try pouring "Renuxit" on the floor and then moping as usual. My
mother-in-law has 15-20 dogs in her house and that is what she mops with!!

Wash with water added with phenyle, the smell will go and the wood flooring would also be sanitised. But phenyle smell will remain that would not be odd like dog urine.

Pour baking soda all over the floor. Let it sit overnight. Vacuum in the morning. Works every time.

mix 1/2 water with 1/2 vinegar. it works in carpet etc. since wood absorbs water you may have to sand it out

You are going to have to sand the entire effected area and then re stain to match.many outlets will be able to all most match your old stain without a fault. Than you must reseal re stained area.
