we have a soft water system so i thought i wouldn't get water spots, but i still see streaks and spots. it's not calcium build up or hard water stains because when i run my fingers against the door i don't really feel anything. it's more like a thin film and i see the water spots. i've tried alot of different claeners but the i can't get ird of the spots.

I have a couple of white pants and t-shirts that I washed with only white colors, and still they turned yellow in some places. Why is that and how do I turn them white again? Not even bleach helped.

I`ve never cleaned furniture before, my parents used to do it when i was living with them. How do i clean the furniture? Do i have to use water on it?! How do i use the cream furniture polish? Let`s say cleaning wasn`t exactly my cup of tea.

I can't get rid of that smell. I don't want to just mask it, but get rid of it without spending a fortune to do so.

I am researching these washer/dryer combos(all in one unit washer and dryers). I was just wondering if they are any good and would they be worth getting since it takes so long to complete one load? I have a family of 6 and am constantly doing laundry. Would the combo slow things up further? Or is the space , capacity and ease worth it?

Thanks in advance for any input.

I've got a new white t-shirt with some red color in it that is a touch too big. I'm trying to shrink it a little by washing it in warm water and then tossing it in the dryer.

Will this be an effective way to shrink it, without causing colors to run? What makes colors run anyway? Any other good tips on shrinking clothes like half a size?
