I have a couple of white pants and t-shirts that I washed with only white colors, and still they turned yellow in some places. Why is that and how do I turn them white again? Not even bleach helped.

Too much bleach can actually yellow clothes over time. You have to make sure you rinse really well. Also be sure you are using hot water. You can get them white again by using RIT color extractor. It's by the RIT dyes that you find in the grocery store or places like Target.

Using bleach will actually make white clothes turn yellow over time. You won't notice it at first, but the longer you use it, the yellower the clothes will get. Your best bet would be to try a color remover (found in the fabric dye section) or dye the clothes white again. I stopped using regular bleach on my whites. I now use a bleach alternative and find this works quite well at keeping my whites white.

sediments, chlorine in water and detergent all add to the discolorization of whites. You said you tried bleach. What was the method? Soak clothes in Hot water not warm with the recommended solution of bleach to water minimum 15 mins and then put thrugh the normal wash cycle, that should do the trick.

If it's only in spots, it's usually a stain that set in the wash or drying. Generally, those are something oily or sweat.

If you haven't put them through the dryer yet, try rewashing them with oxyclean and the hottest water you can use without damaging or shrinking them too badly.

If they went through the dryer, you're pretty much hosed.

It would help to use bleach. It sounds like you are washing them with colors. You might also take them to the dry cleaners.

I swear by TIDE with bleach. You could also try adding baking soda to your wash.

If you have tried oxyclean and it didn't work, then try 1/4 cup of white vinegar.
