Tilex makes a great soap scum remover. It works on soft water scum, too. It is painless. Spray. Wait. Wipe. I love it! White vinegar is cheaper, but it takes a bit more work.

Try lemon oil or baby oil. The oil will soften any buildup if there is any, but then the water will just bead off the glass.
There also used to be a product called Glass Wax, and it did the same thing--caused the water to bead up and run off.

I use CLR. Also, I use mineral oil on a papertowel and rub it on the glass. It shouldn't be enough to drip down, just enough to keep it shiny looking until the next cleaning. I also keep a spray bottle of bleach water in there and spray the surround and tub down after each shower so it's not that difficult to clean later.

Put baby oil on a soft cloth and rub on the doors and it will make your spots disappear.

My very fav cleaner is called "The Works." Spray it down, let it sit for about 3-4 minutes, scrub it a little bit....(make sure you have gloves and the fan is on or the window is open! This stuff is STRONG!!!) ...then rinse.
It's awesome stuff :-)

Scrubbing Bubbles works in my shower. If not, I have also used car window cleaner on the shower doors and it works well too.
